I 'm getting married.........



FINALLY ........



the traditional way !


I will be holding my (simplified - hopefully) customary wedding and banquet on 3rd June 2007....yup, it's a bit rush to get the preparation done and it took us almost 5 years, tons and tons of pushing and nagging to decide to 'finish up' the wedding once and for all....

In fact, it took us more than a month to finalise on the venue. It's not that we are spoilt for choice nor we are picky, both of us simply do not have the time to nail down what we want. And so, tonight, we put down our deposit ......... It will be held in the evening at Pan Pacific !

We chose Pan Pac, not only because of the ballroom but also the inclusion. Prices are competitive among the rest but it was the inclusion that attracted me ! Better still, payment by DBS Woman's card will enjoy perks off !

And dun know how Alvin managed to talk win the Catering Sales Manager and he agreed to treat us to a simple meal at Hai Tien Lo. He kept 'threatening' the Manager to the meal, if not, he refuses to sign. It's not that Pan Pacific are dying for our business (many couples were around talking to many Catering Sales Managers while we were there) .... but I think he just gave in to us ....

And afterall, the meal is not that simple..... he treated us a 5-course dinner...... bbq pork & roast duck; giant dumpling wrapped with tau ki with shark's fin soup; abalone wif chye sim; cod fish; & dessert was mango something something with bird nest ! Gurp....... It was so delicious !

Here I am, on the 37th storey at Hai Tien Lo enjoying the dinner and the view.....

Anyway, the confirmation of the venue is the beginning of the disatrous planning and nightmare.....

Any volunteer wedding planner ???????
