Nope, this is not her ‘bird’ day celebration tonight. This was taken during her 29th birthday last year when she decided to throw a big birthday bash at a Pasir Ris chalet.
This year, she decided to celebrate in more quiet moments and less tiring for her 3-0 !
So feifei and me booked her for the evening since she said she got no dates. We killed a lot of brain cells, squeezed dry our brain juices to plan for a ‘lomantic’ and surprise birthday celebration for her on the actual day but in the evening. We got to work mah….
No matter how she pester us, we refused to tell her what’s the plan, simply brushing her off with a simple xiao long bao dinner at a never exist famous Shanghainese restaurant in pasir panjang.
We had agreed on she had to wear nice nice and in the end, she turned up for the evening in jeans. Hmmmm….. naughty gal not listening to instruction…..
Nevermind, we managed to ‘tekan’ her, starting from me ! I made her carried her own cake insisting it was very heavy. When Feifei arrived, she gave her the flowers and asked her to carry it herself….. ha ha ha…. When we boarded the taxi, she was busying making talks with Feifei and I quickly told the taxi driver to send us to mount Faber. Well, hee hee….. we managed to keep her in suspense for a while…..
And so, we arrived at The Jewel Box Mount Faber just before the sun is going to set. We had our dinner at Altivo Bar. It was such a cosy place and it’s great for chill out session with friends !
Lao niang got her bouquet of roses, a lurp-y shaped cake in pink, a dinner and her birthday pressie !
